Meet Green Warrior #1 Matthew Bate BSc, MSc


Matt played 102 games over 8 years as a professional AFL (Australian Football League) footballer for the Melbourne Demons football club.

He is now a certified holistic sports nutrition practitioner, with the College of Natural health, has completed a bachelor and masters of science in holistic sports nutrition, and is currently studying to finish his Ph.D. in holistic sports nutrition. Matt is extremely passionate about educating and guiding people towards a plant-based, alkaline forming diet, that provides the absolute optimum health, and energy, and allows one to experience life with maximum joy.

Meet Geen Warrior # 2 Tegan Steele, who is also known by many as Vegie Girl


Through her endless research on nutrition, Tegan has been able overcome the debilitating IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), and also helped her mum cure her crohns disease, which they were told was ‘incurable’.

Tegan is also studying at the College of Natural Health, and just like Matt she is on a mission to help as many people as possible regain their health and experience the joys of healthful living. She has already helped thousands of people achieve great health through her Vegie Girl page.

  1. Hi Team! Love your work. I’m a new vegetarian that probably in time will become full Vegan. Really struggling with the through of loosing cheese. Any suggestions on a substitute for this taste?

    • Hey Jason! Once you have mastered the art of balancing your diet you won’t crave cheese at all. Savoury Yeast flakes are a great alternative and is also high in vitamin B12. You can buy it from health food shops.

  2. Hi, I am new to vegetarian/vegan. I have tried since last May, on and off. I still eat some meat as I don’t know how to balance my meal. Do you give consultation about this? I am active in sports. Thanks, Wilson
